Well, my dream of becoming a teen author has offically flown the coop.
But that's OK. For the longest time I wasn't looking forward to growing up, and now, I think I'm embracing it better than I was before. Life is strange, isn't it?
So now I have set a new goal. I want to be published in my twenties.
But if it doesn't happen till I'm 99, then that's fine too! :D

Happy Birthday Madison!
I'll spare you by not singing.
¡Feliz cumpleanos!
(That's "Happy birthday!" in Spanish.)
For what it's worth, I'm not even 2 years older than you are, and I can say that I am SO GLAD that the novel I finished last year didn't get published. I look at it now and think "Eeek. Still needs major revision."
So you might be relieved that that first goal flunked a lot sooner than you might think.

Charlie, thanks for not singing. My whole family sings it to me countless times because I don't like it. :p
Carradee, what I do have written (except for one story that I'm querying) I am glad that nothing I wrote during my teen years got published while I was a teen. Also, promoting a book is hard work and a real job. I don't think I could have handled it as a teen, but now I feel ready! :D
Thanks to both of you for your good wishes! :D
Muchos happios... forget it, I don't know any Spanish.
Happy Birthday, Madison!
Thanks, Ray! Appreciate it! :D
