You Tell Me

Gotta a question for all of you out there, and you don't need to be a writer to answer. I just want your opinion. :)

You have lots of stories that are complete. Which one is your best work to send to agents: the one that's most polished or the one with the best story?

Probably the best story ..... :)

Thanks, Ian! :)

I agree. But you know, the really smart thing would be to polish your best story.

Yeah, I know. It's just that this question has been burning in my mind for several days. I just wanted to ask it. :)

Wait until your best story is your most polished, or take your most polished story and make the story better.

You can submit your best story when it's your most polished. Submitting your best story when it isn't the most polished is like sending out your baby with a dirty diaper: asking for the babysitter to hand him back to you to fix it.

...Assuming you have kids, of course. I was just using babies as an analogy.
