So, The Ultimate Evil is now up to 47K. (groans) Is it ever going to get up to 50K? I'm beginning to think not. On the bright side, if this were in book form, it would be about 200 pages. That's cool, right? :-)
I'm also going to enter the August 2008 monthly competition on fantasy-writers.org. You don't get anything for it 'cause it's just a little nothing contest, but it's fun! Wish me luck!

200 pages isn't that short I guess , I don't know I'm not much of a book reader , but as far as a story about a unicorn goes 200 pages should be long enough :P unless you mean its 200 pages using a very large font haha
No, no large font, Ian. Just 12 point Courier New, Bold. Highly recommended.
No, it's not that short, but fantasy has certain criteria to meet, and part of that is word length. With YA I might have some breathing room, but I don't know for sure. I guess we'll find out when I send it off. :-)
